Many new generations are beginning to take old, beaten oak antiques, like chairs, tables, and doors, and refurbishing the antiques themselves for their first house or apartment.  The damaged antiques are fairly cheap and can turn into a valuable piece of furniture.  The light color the oak wood has lets everyone stain their oak antiques their desired shade or color to fit their house’s environment, after being refurbished.

It is always important to use the right products to clean oak antiques.  Remember not to use highly acidic products or any other product that will stain the antique.  Also, watch out for any chemicals around the antique oak item, as you never know what could possibly ruin the antique.
